  • Why You Should Have a Theme for your Christmas Decorations Every Year - So Your House Doesn’t Look Like a HOT MESS!

Alright, let’s get one thing straight: we all love Christmas. But if your holiday decor looks like a jumble of random decorations from years past—like a hodgepodge of mismatched ornaments, tinsel that hasn't seen a good wipe down in who knows how long, and half-empty boxes of lights—you need to seriously rethink how you're decking the halls.  Now I know it may seem intimidating to go full “Santa’s Workshop” on your house every year, but Christmas truly is a true homemaker's superbowl. Whether you're someone who enjoys hosting frequently, or you just truly love bringing some seasonal spirit and flare into your home, having a consistent theme will make your space look more put together and, honestly, way more fun. Plus, it’s the perfect excuse to add a little flair to your home every year. Trust me, your guests will be in awe, and you’ll finally be able to post that Insta story where you look like you have your life together. So let’s talk themes Pink Christmas  If you’re over the traditional red and green vibe, why not bring in a little soft pink? It’s like the ultimate mix of festive and chic—think pastel pink ornaments, blush ribbons, and even a dusting of rose gold. Pink Christmas isn’t just for little girls’ rooms anymore. It’s classy, it’s trendy, and it’s perfect if you want something different that still screams “holiday magic.” This theme is also perfect for the ladies who don’t have a male roommate—aka your future husband who can’t be trusted with holiday decor anyway. Peppermint Everything Who doesn’t love peppermint? This theme is literally sugar, spice, and everything nice (or maybe a little naughty, depending on how much hot chocolate you’ve had). Go all out with red and white stripes, candy cane patterns, and everything sweet. Add some candy cane ornaments, festive garlands, and a few sparkling snowflakes to create the perfect Instagrammable  scene. Bonus points if you add some real peppermint-scented candles Classy Christmas For those of us who like our Christmases a little more sophisticated, this one’s for you. Imagine deep greens and rich reds without any distractions. Stick with classic, understated ornaments—think glass or matte finishes—and avoid anything too cutesy. A classy Christmas is all about subtle elegance, with minimalistic designs and warm white lights. To take it up a notch, opt for a beautiful tree topper like a deep red velvet bow or a simple star. You’re going for “Pinterest perfect” here, people. Coastal Christmas Is it possible to have a beachy Christmas? Hell yes. This one’s for anyone who’s tired of the cold and wants to bring in a little ocean breeze to their holiday. Picture navy and baby blue ribbons draped over real evergreen garlands, scalloped stockings hanging by the fireplace, and accents in soft ocean blues and whites. Swap the usual baubles for coastal-inspired details—think woven textures, driftwood accents, and wooden ornaments. Add some warm white fairy lights for a glowy, wintery feel, and you’ve got yourself a Nantucket-style holiday paradise. Can you say vacation vibes ? Colorful Christmas For the bold, the brave, and those who want to keep things fun, colorful Christmas is a total vibe. Think bright, happy hues—reds, blues, yellows, greens, and everything in between. It’s like stepping into Dr. Seuss’s Whoville, where Christmas is bursting with joy and whimsy. No need to match anything—just throw in all your favorite colors and let the rainbow magic happen. This theme is perfect if you thrive on energy and embrace a little chaotic beauty. Your tree will look like it belongs in a candy store, with ornaments that even the Whos down in Whoville would envy! Dreaming of a White Christmas If minimalism is more your style but you still want that cozy Christmas magic, an all-white Christmas is pure elegance. Think white tree, white ornaments, frosted greenery, and warm white lights. It’s like walking through a winter wonderland—but without the freezing temperatures. Add silver accents or touches of crystal to keep it from feeling too basic . It's simple, stunning, and gives you all the cozy vibes without any of the mess. Gold Glam  Gold is the it  color if you’re going for that luxe holiday look. Think gold garlands, glittering ornaments, and maybe even some gold-spray-painted pinecones or branches. Everything about this theme exudes sophistication and elegance, transforming your home into a Christmas wonderland straight out of a Hallmark movie. For an ultra-polished vibe, pair the gold with crisp white accents or delicate glass details. It’s all about embracing that golden glow—no red or green required. Prepare to feel like royalty in your very own holiday sanctuary. Toys & Crafts Christmas If you’re crafty and love all things homemade, this theme is your dream come true. Think playful, nostalgic vibes with DIY ornaments like popsicle stick reindeer, clay snowmen, and felt garlands. Add in some vintage toys—like wooden dolls or rocking horses— and, for a truly magical touch, set up an electric toy train around the bottom of the Christmas tree. And you’ve got a whimsical, handmade holiday that feels super personal. This is the theme that’ll have people oohing and aahing over your cute, homemade details and keep things cozy, crafty, and creative. Retro Christmas Bring back the 50s and 60s with a retro Christmas theme. Think kitschy, vintage vibes—tinsel trees, colorful glass ornaments, retro snow globes, and bold patterns. Throw in some cheesy decorations like a ceramic Santa or a nostalgic plastic reindeer. You can go with a mid-century modern look for something sleek, or go full-on vintage with everything from the tree to the table setting. Either way, you'll bring that nostalgic holiday cheer with a twist of old-school flair. Sugar Plum Fairy  This theme is all about enchantment and fairy-tale charm. Inspired by The Nutcracker  and a world of magical wonders, envision soft purples, pinks, and silvers accented with shimmering glitter and sparkle. Picture a whimsical fairyland with sugar plum fairies—delicate tulle ribbons, ornate glass ornaments, and twinkling lights that make your tree seem like it’s straight out of a storybook. If you want your home to feel like a dreamy, festive escape, this theme will create the perfect whimsical wonderland. Why You Should Make Themed Christmas Decor a Tradition  Okay, now that you have some ideas, let’s get into why this is worth doing every year. When you pick a theme, you not only make your decor more cohesive, but you also make shopping for new decorations easier. Plus, you'll have something to look forward to each year. Whether it’s choosing new accents or DIYing some of your decor, having a theme means every holiday feels fresh and fun.  And hey, if you're on a budget, a theme helps you get creative with what you already have! Reuse the same decorations but just change up the color scheme, and bam, you’ve got a totally new look. Plus, themed decor can make your home feel more cozy —you know, the kind of space where you want to curl up with a glass of eggnog and binge-watch Christmas movies. So go ahead, get that theme going and make this holiday season the most stylish one yet. Your tree (and Instagram feed) will thank you.

  • What NOT To Wear List: 8 Things I Avoid

Do you ever wish you were chic-er? Do you look at other women and wish you had their polish? If you find yourself becoming envious of these effortlessly chic women, here's where you can start. It can be overwhelming to curate a capsule wardrobe or sense of style. How many pieces do you need? Are you ballet-core chic or monochromatic matron? Instead of trying to figure out what to wear, it might be easier to figure out what not to wear. If you're thinking about upgrading your look, there are some easy do's and don'ts to follow. Clay's What Not To Wear List These are my style-related items I've eliminated from my repertoire of choices - either because they don't suit me or because I don't find them chic. Ugg Boots (outside the home) - Uggs are cute at home, but not at the grocery store. Clothing that shows underwear lines - If you decide to wear anything with spandex, go commando. Large Patterns - stick with solid colors or small patterns such as polka dots. Foundation - Don't cake your face. Stay with the natural look and opt for tinted sunscreen or BB Cream. Horizontal Stripes - Unless your goal is to look wider... stick with vertical stripes. Logos - Trust me, quiet luxury is the new black. If you want to look chic, leave the logos at the Outlet Mall. Leggings (outside of the gym or home) - Leggings are comfy, but beauty is pain. Keep your leggings in the gym and at the house. Oversized shirts - Again, oversized shirts are comfy, but don't flatter the torso. This reacts, in making your top half look larger. Of course, your choices will reflect what suits you and what you consider chic.

  • Tiny Happies That Make EVERYDAY Better

Welcome back to BLANCH! For this post, I want to talk about what I call "tiny happies". Tiny Happies is a term that my boyfriend, Jack, and I made up this past summer. Tiny Happies are the little things in life that make you feel grateful or happy. They're the things that you take the time to notice that make your day a little bit brighter. I don't know about everyone else, but over the last few weeks I've been going through a big transitional period. I recently moved, I'm starting a new grade, I have new roommates, I'm wrapping up a fitness challenge that has taken me the whole summer to complete. There are a lot of moving parts in my life. When I feel myself getting overwhelmed, I have to practice gratitude and pay attention to the "tiny happies" in my life. Clay's 10 Tiny Happies That Make EVERYDAY Better This list is made up of 10 things that you can incorporate easily into EVERYDAY (yes, actually every single day) life. Incorporating these things can make each of your days shine a little brighter (and that counts on your bad days). Coffee in the morning: There's just something about that first sip of coffee that feels like a warm hug, instantly making the day seem a little brighter. Whether it's a latte, an espresso, or just a plain ol' cup of joe, it's like a mini celebration to kickstart the day. It might sound silly, but I always like to think of coffee as a "morning cocktail". It's something that not only do I enjoy drinking, but makes the little kid inside of me feel like a grown-up -- which is pretty cool. Wearing matching bra and underwear: It’s the little things, right? There’s an unspoken confidence boost that comes from knowing your underwear is on point—even if no one else knows it. It’s like a tiny secret that makes you feel put together. The same goes for wearing a matching pajama set. I don't know about you guys, but when I wake up in a matching pajama set I feel so cute and confident in the bathroom mirror. Adding those extra things into your routine that make you feel a little more confident, really adds up! Having a skincare routine: This is something new for me that I really took time to incorporate this summer. Taking a few minutes to pamper your skin isn’t just about looking good; it’s about feeling good too. There’s something soothing about going through the motions of cleansing, moisturizing, and maybe even throwing on a face mask. It's self-care wrapped up in a daily ritual. Because even if you didn't get anything done today, at least you did that. Putting on a cute outfit to conquer the day (can be a workout set): Whether you’re heading to the gym, the office, or just the grocery store, wearing something that makes you feel good can totally change your mindset. A cute outfit is like armor—it makes you feel ready to take on whatever the day throws at you. Now, you don't have to be throwing on a ball gown or even jeans everyday to make yourself feel good. Sometimes, a good 'ol matching workout set gets the job done. Sometimes when you hate your whole outfit, you end up hating your whole day -- and who wants to do that? Having pictures of your friends around your living space: I know most people have pictures of their family or significant others around their living space, but there's something special about having pictures of your friends around. Surrounding yourself with snapshots of your favorite people adds warmth to any space. It's like having your own personal cheering squad on the walls, reminding you that you're loved and supported. When you have a bad day, and feel like everyone hates you, look up and you'll see those smiling faces. Wearing your "nice" jewelry: Why save the good stuff for special occasions? Throw on that necklace or those earrings you love, just because. A little sparkle can elevate any outfit and make even the most mundane day feel a bit more special. Listening to music on a walk outdoors instead of a podcast: Sometimes, you just need to unplug from the constant stream of information and get lost in your favorite tunes. A walk outdoors with a good playlist can be incredibly refreshing—it's like a mini-vacation for your mind. I'm a firm believer in this. Listening to music and looking at your surroundings really gives you time to appreciate nature and your surroundings. It's incredibly grounding. Having your nails painted: There’s something about freshly painted nails that just makes you feel more polished (pun intended). It’s a simple act of self-care that adds a pop of color to your day and makes everything you do feel a little more intentional. For me, this is similar to wearing the matching underwear or pajamas. There are days when you won't be able to have the perfect outfit on, or have the clearist skin, but if your nails are done you've got a piece of elegance with you wherever you go. Listening to music really loud in the car (even when you're by yourself): Cranking up the volume and singing along at the top of your lungs is a surefire way to boost your mood. Everyone loves singing with their friends in the car, so why don't you do it all the time? This trick always gets me hyped up about my day and puts me in a joyful mood. It ’s like your own personal concert, and you’re the star of the show—no audience needed. Realizing that you don't have to grow up even though you're in your twenties: This is something new to me. Earlier this month, I had a meltdown about how scared I was that I am now a college senior, and that the next year is going to bring a lot of change. BUT just because you're adulting doesn't mean you have to let go of that playful spirit! Embrace the little things that bring you joy, whether it's a spontaneous dance party in your living room or indulging in your favorite childhood snack. Growing up doesn’t mean you have to stop having fun. And no adult has it all figured out.

  • My DREAM Makeup Bag

Welcome back, this week I want to talk all things makeup! This past summer, I’ve been getting really into skincare and makeup products as a part of my “Eat, Pray, Love” journey. Not only have I been paying attention to the ingredients in the products, but I’ve been paying close attention to the business people behind the products. Little fact about me: I used to want to be the CEO of my own makeup line after college I’ll be frank, I don’t like to support products of people who are unkind, unprofessional, or don’t live out a mission statement that I believe in — but that’s another story for another time. These products are all things I’d LOVE to have in my makeup bag at any given time. Some of these I’ve owned and used, some I’ve never tried! Let’s dive into my dream makeup bag picks. The Bag: Starting off strong, even though a makeup bag is notorious for getting messy, that doesn’t mean it can’t be fashionable! I love all things Mark & Graham , and their makeup bags are NO EXCEPTION! This adorable puffy makeup bag is cute for any season, and the quality will last you a lifetime. Click “The Bag:” to shop the exact one! REFY Primer: I’ll be so real, I have never been a makeup primer girl until this one. I saw someone using this while watching a GRWM on TikTok and I thought it looked so hydrating. Not to mention the applicator makes the product roll on so easily. After pulling the trigger and buying the product, I will never go back. It honestly has changed the game for me, and made wearing makeup feel a little less like it’s suffocating your skin. Click “REFY Primer” to shop the product! Drunk Elephant Bronzi Drops: The Drunk Elephant Bronzi drops are a staple in my makeup routine. Whether it’s full-glam, or an everyday “no makeup” look. The Bronzi drops are great for giving you that little glow that you get after laying out at the beach on an everyday basis. They’re a combination between a liquid highlighter and bronzer. It’s easy to over-do these though. Remember, less is more. Click “Drunk Elephant Bronzi Drops” to shop the product! Mary Kay CC Cream: This product is special to me. It’s probably the thing that I’ve had in my makeup bag the longest. I’ve been using the Mary Kay CC Cream since I was about 14 years old. Not only is it a light feeling full-coverage product, but it also has SPF 15 included in the formula! This is another product that can be used in full-glam or on an everyday basis. If you’re headed out the door to go to class and want to look more awake after your 3 day bender, this is the product for you. Click “Mary Kay CC Cream” to shop the product! E.L.F. Halo Liquid Glow Foundation: I recently started using the E.l.f. Halo Glow Liquid Foundation. This is a product that I use when I’m going for a more glam or full-coverage look. For the affordable price, it’s a remarkable product. The product goes on clean and easily, and it’s a definite go-to amongst all my college friends. Ask any of us, all of us have it in our makeup bag. I’d definitely apply primer before using this product though. Click “E.L.F. Halo Liquid Glow Foundation”  to shop the product! NARS Creamy Concealer: This is another product that I will hold near and dear to my heart, and I will ALWAYS splurge on. I started using this concealer when I was in high school, and I haven’t tried another concealer since. This concealer is one of the nicer products in my bag, but so worth it. The formula is so creamy and easy to blend. It’s great for those small blemishes, and those monsterous dark circles under your eyes. They don’t like when they call it CREAMY concealer. This thick, yet lightweight concealer is the perfect product for all skin types and all shades. Click “NARS Creamy Concealer”  to shop the product! LYS Bronzer Stick: This is a product I haven’t yet tried. I’ve seen it on TikTok and it looks like the perfect swipe-and-go bronzer stick. It’s angled applicator, and creamy formula, makes it easy to glide on to your cheeks and jawline. Trust me it’ll be on my Christmas wish-list this year. Click “LYS Bronzer Stick”  to shop the product! Charlotte Tilbury Contour Wand: I’ve also never tried this product, but all of my friends swear by it. I know that E.L.F makes a dupe, but it hasn’t been rated as high. I think if you’re looking for a liquid bronzer, this is the best choice compared to a cream or powder bronzer. If I was in the market for a liquid bronzer, this is the one I’d purchase. Click “Charlotte Tillbury Contour Wand”  to shop the product! NARS Laguna Powder Bronzer: This is another product I’ve kept in my bag for a long while. I’ve tried other powder bronzers such as, the HOOLA Beauty bronzer. However, this is my favorite choice. Not only is the color perfect, it’s an easily blendable product. It complements ANY shade of blush, which is the true tell-tale sign of a good bronzer. Definitely worth the splurge in my book. Click “NARS Laguna Powder Bronzer”  to shop the product! Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder: This is one of the nicer items in my makeup bag, and it’s on my Christmas list every year. I’ve purchased this product more times than I can count. I love this powder because it is truly a translucent powder. No more “flashback Mary” or visible “bake” in your Instagram pictures. It’s easy for powder to get chalky under your eyes, but this one stays smooth without making your face look too matte or cracked. This product will never go out of style. SO WORTH THE SPLURGE. Drugstore powders… BE GONE! Click “Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder”  to shop the product! NARS Orgasm Blush: I’ve used this blush a couple times. It pairs greatly with the NARS Laguna blush. It’s pigment is super powerful, which means this product lasts a long while. Although this product isn’t in my bag at all times, I’m always happy to have it and never regret putting it on. If you want a powerful, yet natural-looking blush, this needs to be your go-to. Not to mention, it’s Click “NARS Orgasm Blush”  to shop the product! Rare Beauty Highlighter: This is another product that I haven’t tried out yet. However, I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about all the Rare Beauty line. Not only are the products phenomenal, Selena Gomez (their CEO), is the ultimate “girls girl,” and that deserves all of the positive press. I’ve heard that this liquid formula, much like the Bronzi drops, gives a perfect glow in addition to a “dewey” effect. Click “Rare Beauty Highlighter”  to shop the product! Tartelette Palette In Bloom: I love this palette. This is something I used when I was in early high school, and I recently repurchased it. I love this palette because it has the perfect neutral shades for any makeup look! I also love the size. They also make a mini size of this palette if you’re looking for smaller. I like to be able to throw an eyeshadow palette in any makeup bag, big or small. It’s also equal parts matte and shimmer. If you’re looking for a basic palette you can use for any occasion, this is your product. Click “Tartelette Palette in Bloom”  to shop the product! Too Faced Kitty Likes to Scratch Palette: If you’re looking for a warmer palette, this one is perfect! Although I haven’t owned this specific palette, I’ve owned multiple Too Faced eyeshadow palettes. What I love most about their eyeshadow is how creamy and pearly they are. I’d say their eyeshadow formula is my favorite. Excellent quality. Click “Too Faced Kitty Likes to Scratch Palette”  to shop the product! Bobbi Brown Cream Eyeshadow Stick: If I’m ever going for a smokier eyeshadow look, I try to steer away from the powder eyeshadows. When you’re doing a smokey eye, cream eyeshadows are your best friend. Specifically this Bobbi Brown one. I love this eyeshadow stick because it’s easily blendable with your fingers, and a very low-matientnce product. It makes it look like you tried so hard to get this gorgeous Smokey eye, when you really just swiped it on and smudged it with your finger to blend! I love the shade, Forest to achieve this look. Click “Bobbi Brown Cream Eyeshadow Stick”  to shop the product! Eyelash Curler: On the days I’m not wearing any makeup, I will ALWAYS curl my lashes. I love the way it makes my slim almond-shaped eyes look more awake, and makes my lashes look a little longer. This will always be in my bag, no matter what. Click “Eyelash Curler”  to shop the product! Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara: Well, nothing is truly better than…. BUT this mascara is pretty darn good! I know waterproof mascara can be polarizing, but I am so guilty of my mascara getting smudged all under my eyes after a night out. To avoid this, waterproof mascara will do the trick! Just because you’re drunk and sloppy, doesn’t mean you have to look sloppy. Click “Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara”  to shop the product! Laneige Lip Glowy Balm: I’m a big fan of all things Laneige, but especially their lip glosses, and lip masks. This product is almost like an elevated chapstick. Not only does it give you the sickest glow, it repairs and heals all those crusty pieces of skin that you secretly chew off your lips. This is ALWAYS in my purse. Click “Laneige Lip Glowy Balm”  to shop the product! Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Plump: Don’t be fooled by the name, this product isn’t a plumping lip gloss. However, this is a product I’ve repurchased. What sets it apart is the consistency. It’s wetter than a lip stick, but not liquid enough to be a lip gloss. It goes on super smooth and creamy, and gives an amazing tint while also looking glossy. Click “Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Plump”  to shop the product! Miss Dior Eau De Parfum: Ok, I know everybody is into Sol De Janeiro right now, which is great BUT… when a drunk girl comes up to you and tells you that you smell like a princess in a smelly bar… YOU BUY MISS DIOR! Period. The End. Click “Miss Dior Eau De Parfum”  to shop the product!

  • What I Wish I Knew as a Freshman from a Your Senior Sorority Sister

Welcome back, Listen up, freshmen! As a senior who's been around the block a few times, let me give it to you straight—no sugarcoating, no BS. Here's what I wish I knew when I was a wide-eyed freshman, and trust me, it's not for the faint of heart. 1. Own Your Boldness/Give Zero F**KS : College is not  the time to shrink yourself or tiptoe around who you are. Embrace your boldness, your quirks, and your unapologetic self-expression. Be loud, be proud, and never apologize for being you. You’ll make better friends, memories, and overall feel better about yourself. Seriously, caring too much about what other people think is a one-way ticket to misery. Do what makes you happy, pursue your passions, and let the haters hate. At the end of the day, their opinions don't pay your bills or earn your degree. 2. Forge Unapologetic Friendships : Surround yourself with people who embrace your boldness, your vulgarity, and your unfiltered authenticity. These are the friends who will have your back through thick and thin, who will laugh with you until your stomach hurts, and who will call you out on your BS when you need it most. Trust me, without them you’ll get MAJOR imposter syndrome. 3. Take Risks, Make Mistakes : College is the ultimate playground for experimentation. Absolutely no one has it figured out, and now is the best time to make mistakes. You’re independent, but not alone. Take risks, try new things, and don't be afraid to fail spectacularly. Trust me, some of your best stories will come from the moments when everything went sideways. 4. Give Back Through Philanthropy : One of the most rewarding aspects of being in a sorority is the opportunity to give back to your community through philanthropy events and service projects. This not only helps those in need, but it’s an extremely grounding experience. Being in college especially, these grounding moments will become part of your self-care. Embrace these opportunities to make a positive impact both on and off campus. 5. Self-Care is Essential : Amidst the hustle and bustle of college life, don't forget to prioritize self-care. Make time for activities that nourish your mind, body, and soul, whether it's practicing yoga, going for a run, or simply rotting in your bed and doing laundry on a Friday night. 6. Get Involved/Networking Beyond the Sorority : College campuses offer countless leadership opportunities, from serving on executive boards to organizing events and fundraisers in clubs. Seize these opportunities to develop valuable skills and make a meaningful impact within your chapter. While your sorority sisters can be valuable networking connections, don't limit yourself to just your Greek community. Take advantage of networking opportunities both on and off campus to expand your professional circle. 7. Respect and Inclusivity : Embrace the diversity within your sorority and strive to create an inclusive environment where every sister feels valued and respected for who they are. Celebrate differences and foster a sense of belonging for all members. 8. Party Hard, Study Harder : Look, college is about more than just hitting the books. It's also about living it up and making memories that will last a lifetime. But remember, for every wild night out, there's a morning-after cram session waiting for you. Find your balance, but never forget why you're here in the first place. I can’t count how many times I’ve felt so badly for not prioritizing the whole reason I’m at college — school. Speaking from personal experience, sophomore year was definelty my “fun year”. And those phone calls with your parents after they receive your midterms, aren’t pleasant. 9. Stay Woke, Stay Informed : In today's world, ignorance is not bliss—it's downright dangerous. Stay informed about the issues that matter, educate yourself about social justice, and use your voice and your platform to advocate for change. You’re an adult now, so educate yourself on the world and form your own opinion. 10. Live Your Best Damn Life : At the end of the day, your time in college will pass by in the blink of an eye. Cherish every laugh, every tear, and every triumph shared with your friends—the late-night study sessions fueled by caffeine, the spontaneous road trips that lead to unforgettable adventures. • Fashion for Fearless Women: Styling Tips for Breaking Norms

Fashion is a powerful form of self-expression, allowing us to break away from the norm and showcase our individuality. In the workplace, especially if you’re in a windowless office, it can feel nearly impossible to express your creativity. As a fearless woman, embracing styles that defy expectations can be liberating and exhilarating. Here are some tips to help you make bold fashion choices confidently and seamlessly integrate them into your wardrobe. 1. Mix Unexpected Elements Combining different styles, fabrics, or eras can create a captivating look. For example, pair a delicate lace blouse with rugged denim or a structured blazer with flowing bohemian skirts. The contrast not only adds depth to your outfit but also makes a striking statement that commands attention. 2. Embrace Bold Colors Color is a powerful tool in fashion. While neutrals are a safe choice, vibrant hues can elevate your style and exude confidence. Start by incorporating a single bold piece, like a cobalt blue dress or a bright yellow coat, and gradually mix more colors into your outfits. For a cohesive look, balance bold colors with neutral accessories or complementary tones. A good monochromatic moment can be so chic. If you find multiple pieces in the same shade of pink or red, and you can execute a flawless, bold look. 3. Choose Statement Accessories Accessories are an excellent way to experiment with bold fashion without fully committing to a new style. Opt for oversized earrings, chunky necklaces, or brightly colored handbags to add flair to simpler outfits. Statement shoes, like embellished boots or metallic pumps, can also transform a basic look into something extraordinary. 4. Redefine Professional Attire Professional doesn’t have to mean conventional. Infuse your work wardrobe with personality by choosing tailored suits in unexpected colors or patterns. Swap out traditional blouses for silk tops with unique details, or pair pencil skirts with bold, graphic tees for a modern twist on office wear. 5. Confident Layering Layering is a versatile way to add complexity to your outfit. Play with proportions by layering oversized pieces with fitted items or combining textures like leather, knitwear, and silk. This not only keeps your look interesting but also allows you to showcase different aspects of your style. 6. Own Your Look — Your GAF’s are on vacation The most important element of breaking fashion norms is confidence. Wear your bold choices with pride and don’t second-guess your style decisions. Fashion is a personal journey, and expressing yourself authentically will always be in vogue. Stand tall, own your unique style, and let your wardrobe be a testament to your fearless spirit. Remember, fashion is about experimentation and personal expression. By stepping out of your comfort zone and trying new styles, you not only expand your fashion horizons but also discover more about yourself. So, go ahead—be daring, be different, and most importantly, be you.
